Christine Reed holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in metal-work and site-specific installation sculpture.
 
For four years prior to joining Thuilot Associates, she was a designer and project manager at Walter J. Hood Design; overseeing the design and construction of numerous local and national civic and institutional projects, including the five acre landscape and courtyards of the New DeYoung Museum in San Francisco.
 
She has been an assistant professor, guest lecturer and critic at UC Berkeley in both the Architecture and Landscape Architecture departments. Outside of the office, she maintains a studio practice in painting, and has exhibited at several local galleries and cultural institutions.
