Stefan Thuilot  holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Diploma (Master) in Fine Arts from Enschede, the Netherlands, with a sculpture and photography emphasis. Fourteen years prior to founding Thuilot Associates, his projects have included numerous private residential gardens and estates throughout the Bay Area. He also designed commercial and public projects as a consulting designer for several landscape architecture and urban design firms. Projects included the coordination & design of courtyards for multi-family condominium, streetscapes, college plazas and residential communities in California. In 2001 Mr. Thuilot helped coordinating the international Environmental Art project “Peninsula Europe”.  As a principal of Huettl-Thuilot Associates Stefan Thuilot  lead the design and construction of many  residential, commercial and institutional projects and was  the principal designer of four  Sunset award winning gardens. Stefan Thuilot lives with his wife and son in Berkeley and enjoys the great outdoors, his own evolving garden and painting.
